Bonded Components is located in Cambridgeshire in the small village of Sawtry situated between Huntingdon and Peterborough.
We are a proud, 100% family owned business, that has been at the forefront of manufacturing Honeycomb and Sandwich panels since 1984, accruing over 39 years of experience producing and supplying these high performance, lightweight, structural panels.
Over the years we have honed our manufacturing operation, making us very efficient and effective, and in turn allowing us to be very competitive on price. We also understand that price isn’t everything, and that our customers deserve the very best; this is why all of our customers get a single point of contact with whom they deal with, giving a personal service that you can rely on.
We pride ourselves on being very accommodating and flexible, often taking on unusual and small orders where other companies fall down. We are also able to take on large contracts, and have several customers that we have been in contact for over 30 years.

Reliability engineering starts at the conceptual phase of the product design and continues through all phases of the product lifecycle. Our goal is always to identify any potential issues as early as possible by examining the reliability of the product from different perspectives throughout its lifecycle.
If issues can be addressed early, the requirement for modifications is less expensive within the early design phase so this attention to detail will keep the costs down. In addition we use reliability data and other information to illustrate the cost-effectiveness of a product. It may be that the initial cost is higher, but the overall lifetime cost is lower as less maintenance and repairs are required.

We take a goal-orientated approach. If an ‘off-the-shelf’ product is not available, then a bespoke panel construction design can be produced. Using internal and external technical research we will prepare a recommendation to suit your individual requirements. This will take into account: weight, strength, duration, surface texture, colour and thermal properties. The recommendation will contain supporting information including, where applicable, specifications and illustrations.
