Bonded Components is located in Cambridgeshire in the small village of Sawtry situated between Huntingdon and Peterborough.

We are a proud, 100% family owned business, that has been at the forefront of manufacturing Honeycomb and Sandwich panels since 1984, accruing over years of experience producing and supplying these high performance, lightweight, structural panels.

Over the years we have honed our manufacturing operation, making us very efficient and effective, and in turn allowing us to be very competitive on price. We also understand that price isn’t everything, and that our customers deserve the very best; this is why all of our customers get a single point of contact with whom they deal with, giving a personal service that you can rely on.

We pride ourselves on being very accommodating and flexible, often taking on unusual and small orders where other companies fall down. We are also able to take on large contracts, and have several customers that we have been in contact for over 30 years.

Kevin is a keen aircraft enthusiast, gaining his Private Pilot’s License at the age of 25. In 1995, Kevin decided to embark on building his own 'Harmon Rocket 2 - G-RCKT' light aircraft from kit. After 12 long painful years, On May the 7th 2007, he completed his ambition and took off from a short grass strip in Kingston, Cambridgeshire. After 30 minutes he touched down at Little Gransden airfield.

Kevin retired in 2005 to do more of what he loves - flying, however he still owns the Bonded Components and takes a keen interest in its operation.

Our Core values

Honest & Reliable

Bonded Components see reliability as one of the cornerstones of our business. The company’s excellent reputation is closely related to the consistent dependability of our products. We always strive for continuous improvement through industry best practice. It is essential that reliable design goes hand-in-hand with a superior manufacturing process to produce inherent reliability in the product. This, in turn, ensures increased opportunities to forge deep, long-term relationships with our clients.

We have a strong work ethic, integrity and a range of skills and are used to managing expectations and commitments. Both realistic and resourceful, we welcome new and challenging projects with enthusiasm.

We pride ourselves that we are an honest and trustworthy company founded on high standards, teamwork and co-operation.

A reliable business is a business you can trust.

Trust Bonded Components.

Customer Focused

Bonded Components is serious about our product and are committed to customer satisfaction whether you are a large company or an individual business.

As a family business with over 50 years professional experience, our dedicated team work to build an open, honest relationship with you. With detailed knowledge of our product, we are always ready to help and guide you through the options available, in both material and design, to produce the most suitable final outcome.

We take pride in offering an outstanding personal service in a friendly manner. We take time to listen, understand your queries and are attentive to your needs. We respond to requests quickly and communicate on an on-going basis. Responsible and prudent planning enables us to inform you of the status of the work and the anticipated completion. This helps you to plan for other aspects.

Reliability engineering starts at the conceptual phase of the product design and continues through all phases of the product lifecycle. Our goal is always to identify any potential issues as early as possible by examining the reliability of the product from different perspectives throughout its lifecycle.

If issues can be addressed early, the requirement for modifications is less expensive within the early design phase so this attention to detail will keep the costs down. In addition we use reliability data and other information to illustrate the cost-effectiveness of a product. It may be that the initial cost is higher, but the overall lifetime cost is lower as less maintenance and repairs are required.

We monitor and encourage excellent customer service.

Bonded Components treat customers as individuals.

Adaptive & Responsive

At Bonded Components you will find a highly experienced company that aims to be open-minded and approachable. As a small family firm we have less bureaucracy, give prompt responses, react faster and are more cost effective. Our product has a wide variety of industry applications.

B.C. believes business is all about you. We offer a punctual, flexible, competent service that is responsive to changing consumer requirements and industry regulations and we deliver the service level we agree with you.

We take a goal- orientated approach. If an ‘off-the-shelf’ product is not available, then a bespoke panel construction design can be produced. Using internal and external technical research we will prepare a recommendation to suit your individual requirements. This will take into account: weight, strength, duration, surface texture, colour and thermal properties. The recommendation will contain supporting information including, where applicable, specifications and illustrations.

Bonded Components always goes the extra mile.
